Enterprise Speed Dating: What Next?
At our first ever Enterprise Speed Dating, selected startup projects and small agile businesses pitched their solutions and products to the top management of large corporations in 10-minute face-to-face meetings. The format was simple - imagine speed dating, where business challenges, not feelings, are at stake.
We enjoyed the thrilling buzz of the event that was - according to our partners - smooth, dynamic and time-efficient. However, the event was not a goal, it was a tool. It was a kickoff for a journey, which should lead to successful projects, deals and contracts, provided that all parties involved are fully engaged in the process. So let’s not rest on our laurels!
Since the event, we’ve been arranging the follow-up negotiations. We have learnt a lot from discussing the next steps with the participants. About what they expected. About what they want (and don’t want). About potential areas of cooperation between corporations and startups that can generate synergies. We are now more than ready to use this experience to steer the negotiations in the right directions. Based on the first round of follow-up discussions, we have indentified over 40 business opportunities based on our partners' expressions of interest.

And now, the cherry on top, we are delighted to share this lovely video from ESD: The Pilot, a masterpiece by nechvile.cz. Many thanks to all who joined us and for their inspiring, open, honest, and (Yay!) mostly positive feedback!
Our Partners in Crime
On the corporate side of the table, we were happy to welcome Konica Minolta, RWE, Equa bank, ICZ, ČEZ, Adastra, Seznam.cz, O2 and BMW i (general partner of the event).
The startup scene was represented by (surprise surprise!) selected startups, but also by a university-based business incubator and one not-for-profit project. Czech’em out!
